My Story
I became a personal injury lawyer the day I watched my father's worker's comp claim get denied. He'd worked construction for 30 years, and when a scaffolding accident shattered his shoulder, the insurance company said it was "pre-existing wear." He couldn't afford to fight. I was 23.
I spent the next decade at a large defense firm, learning exactly how insurance companies build cases — and how to beat them. In 2019, I left to start Mitchell Law, where I could finally use everything I'd learned on the other side.
My clients know that when they call, I answer. Not an assistant, not a voicemail — me. I take fewer cases so I can give each one everything it deserves.
Outside the office, you'll find me hiking Colorado's fourteeners or volunteering at the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network.
